About Me:

My initial 200-hour yoga teacher training was with Vidya Heisel and Jennilee Toner of Frog Lotus Yoga International. I have continued my training with Sadie Nardini, a mentorship with Ame Wren and with Daniel Orlansky's 500 hour teacher training. During this training I have received certifications as a level I Yin yoga teacher (Josh Summers), level I Thai Yoga Massage (Jenn Yarro) as well as intensive in Meridian Yoga (Daniel Orlanksy) and Yoga Therapy (Doug Keller). I am also a Level 1 Certified AcroYoga teacher and YogaSlacker teacher now living in Bend, Oregon. I taught for over 2 years in Boston and over 3 years in New York City before heading west in 2016.

In addition to these various yoga teaching styles I am a certified diviner in the tradition of the Toltec I Ching and am available for private and group readings. I completed the amazing Sarahpeutics 7-day 5 element Thai Massage training in LA with Sarah Vosen and Sarah Yovovich and am in the process of getting licensed in the state of Oregon so I can continue to give bodywork. I am also a birth doula (DONA International) and while I have only been to a few births so far I look forward to more opportunities for this so please reach out to me if you're looking!

My Background:

I was a professional ballet dancer for the almost 10 years and am currently playing with ways to blend acroyoga and ballet together. I danced with Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre in Cambridge, MA for 4 seasons and before that performed/trained with Festival Ballet Providence, Albany Berkshire Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Ballet Academy East and Ithaca Ballet. I also have an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Harvard University.

I am a lifelong vegetarian, a proud animal mom of 3 furry friends (2 cats and one big dog) and an animal lover all around. I come from a community of spiritually conscious and hungry seekers of life and believe this has helped me become a well rounded and globally conscious person. I want to share the ideas and values I grew up in with the world through my yoga classes and through every action I take. I hope to combine my deep understanding of the body and movement with my passionate desire to constantly strive for more, to dive deeper, to learn, to grow, and to fully, intentionally, and consciously live every second of my life. I love meeting new people, traveling to new places and learning new things and I hope you can find a way to cross your journey with mine so we can enjoy living our lives together. I am the proud owner of Tula Movement Arts, an innovative movement space for all ages and levels in Bend, Oregon. Feel free to check out Tula Movement Arts HERE

Namaste!
